The situation of things in the Nigerian North-Eastern states of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe right now is more critical than anyone can imagine. The Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram has sacked several towns and villages, killing people and burning down their homes. As a result of this, thousands of children, most of whose parents have been murdered by the rampaging Boko Haram group, have fled from their towns and villages. They are wandering on mountain tops, on the foot of the hills, while others have crossed over to one of our neighbouring country, Cameroon.
Two thousand of these children are seeking for a shelter with us in ICCFMissions, Home for the Needy (www.homefortheneedy.com), where they can start life all over again.
Meanwhile, we have been able to accommodate 4000 of these children, and equally enrolled them in our school.

23-12-2014 How this rescue is progressing and what we were able to achieve till now
As you all know, we are working for months now to rescue the many children in the North of Nigeria who had to flee from the terrible attacks of Boko Haram. Hereby we want to give you report about how this rescue is progressing and what we were able to achieve till now. (including pictures)
Praise the Lord everybody!!! Temporal good news, 49 among the 73 children have wandered and trekked through the bush until they found themselves in a town today where they were hiding until a pastor discovered them and brought them to safety.
Unfortunately, we received the following message from Nigeria today:
"The place where we gathered 73 children being prepared to be brought here to us has been attacked by Boko Haram this afternoon with all the children scattered into different directions
Praise the Lord!!! He has done it!!! Yesterday the first batch of children arrived at our International Centre after a four days journey. God is so good!
