The situation of things in the Nigerian North-Eastern states of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe right now is more critical than anyone can imagine. The Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram has sacked several towns and villages, killing people and burning down their homes. As a result of this, thousands of children, most of whose parents have been murdered by the rampaging Boko Haram group, have fled from their towns and villages. They are wandering on mountain tops, on the foot of the hills, while others have crossed over to one of our neighbouring country, Cameroon.
Two thousand of these children are seeking for a shelter with us in ICCFMissions, Home for the Needy (www.homefortheneedy.com), where they can start life all over again.
Meanwhile, we have been able to accommodate 4000 of these children, and equally enrolled them in our school.

08-10-2014 Good news
Praise God!!!! Good news and appreciation to all of you who supported us and the children in prayers. For the last two days the Nigerian army had subjected us day and night to all kinds of scrutiny and even today sent some soldiers to the International Centre to verify what we are doing.
Please join us in prayers for the children coming from the North, the first batch has travelled through many military checking points and right now they are in the middle of a Nigerian city where they could have gone to Abuja and from there to us in Benin City,
Praise God, the missionary has escaped and together with his family is now in a safe place. Thanks to all of you that prayed. Though many lost their lives but God has saved this brother and his family and some of the brethren and children with him. Praise be to God!
08-09-2014 Weeping, wailing and blood shed
(03:52pm) We are all weeping and praying here as our brethren in the North called us crying on phone that we should please pray for them that Boko Haram found them where they are hiding and right now are killing them, there is much weeping, wailing and blood shed going on right now.
