The situation of things in the Nigerian North-Eastern states of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe right now is more critical than anyone can imagine. The Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram has sacked several towns and villages, killing people and burning down their homes. As a result of this, thousands of children, most of whose parents have been murdered by the rampaging Boko Haram group, have fled from their towns and villages. They are wandering on mountain tops, on the foot of the hills, while others have crossed over to one of our neighbouring country, Cameroon.
Two thousand of these children are seeking for a shelter with us in ICCFMissions, Home for the Needy (www.homefortheneedy.com), where they can start life all over again.
Meanwhile, we have been able to accommodate 4000 of these children, and equally enrolled them in our school.

Most of the children that have been hiding in the mountains have now been able to flee to Cameroon. They went on foot and could only move in the night, while they had to hide during the day. It was a long journey that took them many nights.
In the past few days it has been not so easy to rescue the children in the North due to the terrible situation of Boko Haram attacks as even Cameroon has closed its borders because of these terorrists and the ebola disease.
We have taken stock of what is needed for this needy children as stated below. However, we also know that except God intervenes these are quite much to contemplate. Therefore, whatever anyone is able to give is welcome to help these children.
